Our team of four talented Year 11 Art students, Luke, Maly, Maddison and Shania, worked together to develop a design for the Morrinsville College cow, inspired by the sponsor’s brief "Follow Your Dreams". They used the following motifs:
- College House colours
- Kowhaiwhai designs from the carved entrance on Alexandra Avenue
- College Rugby socks
- A background of sky and clouds inspired by the Art of Rene Magritte
The students were guided through the big painting task by artist Alison Brain, who added her flair to the project. The result is udderly awesome!
