In speaking with the sponsor, they expressed the importance of highlighting what the Theatre is known for.
On the front theatre seating is depicted along with the stage (as if looking down as an audience member). On stage you will note the performers in various costumes and poses.
On the other side, they wanted to showcase the make up mirrors in the dressing room behind the stage. In each mirror you will note a different character (preparing for the stage). The mirrors are then flanked by costumes and props.

I am a professional artist living in Morrinsville. With a background in both fine art and teaching. I taught primary school for 13 years before working as a full time Artist crediting highly detailed soft pastel portraits and floral work.

Stephen and Annette Silcock have been involved with the Morrinsville Theatre for 50 years, first appearing on stage together in 1976.
Since that time, they have been members, frequent patrons, committee members and involved with numerous productions both on stage and behind the scenes off stage.
They have always supported and encouraged youth participation in theatre.
