As a painter and sculptor I seek to express permanent and transient qualities of landscapes in paint and stone, taking inspiration from landscapes with energy, colour and strong form. I approached the cow in the same way – capturing activities to be recognisable but with spontaneity and using the cow’s shape to enhance or link the elements. I have painted and sculpted for over 25 years.
