Our cow represents the colours of the 220 nations of the world in which Rotary is active and one of Rotary’s objectives of creating international understanding, peace and goodwill amongst all people regardless of their colour, race or creed. "Rotamoo" simply represents the diversity of the world and that New Zealand is a multi cultural, multi ethnic community that seeks equality.

Peter Faulkner

Peter currently works for Fraser High School, Hamilton, as Director of Community Education offering all sorts of wonderful Adult Learning opportunities.
Peter was born and raised in Zimbabwe, where he developed a love and affinity with zebras. He moved to the UK in his late teens where he had adventures, went to Teachers Training College in Reading and went Primary School teaching in North Nottinghamshire.
He married Mandy in 1976 and they have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
In 1994 they moved to New Zealand and Peter started A Very Splashy Business (Splashy) making fun and bright pottery/ceramics.
Peter has always been involved in creative activities and is currently inspired by pallets!
