Primarily made up of jigsaw pieces, this piece of art reflects that the whole picture is made up of many pieces. Each one of us in the community is a piece of the puzzle and we need each other to give a more complete picture. Secondly, the left side of the cow is an incomplete puzzle. We don’t claim to have it all together as individuals and we recognise we are in the process of being put together piece by piece as we find healing in various areas of our lives. We are also committed to helping others put their lives together by making available our various social, emotional, and spiritual services. Thirdly, within our ‘Faith Community’ there are missing pieces yet to join us. We look forward to journeying with you as Jesus (the Peace of the Puzzle) restores all of us to completeness as human beings.

Catherine is a Registered Nurse working with the Hospice Waikato Rural Outreach Services. She migrated to New Zealand 18 years ago with her husband Richard and daughter Katie. Catherine was excited to he part of this project, and the painting of this cow has been very much a family activity.
