With Morrinsville being a traditional V8 and farming community this Friesian beast deserved a full old school carburetted V8 upgrade. Every stroke is airbrushed personally by myself taking approximately 100 hours to complete. Between the beast and the airbrush work I believe it epitomizes where Morrinsville's heart lies.

Since its beginnings in the early 1930's Nicholson Autos has witnessed tremendous change in the motor industry. When the business originally opened in Morrinsville it was owned by the Paine family, with strong emphasis on providing quality GM vehicles at affordable prices. Today the business is still family owned, though now by the Nicholson family. It has undergone dramatic expansion. Graham Nicholson (Nick) originally worked for the Paine family business, starting off as a car groomer and working his way up to become the sales manager and part owner, before buying the business in 1980.
