The brief to Paul Martin (Artist) was simple.
A view of the town and surrounding area (cartoon style). Capturing essentially the 'daily life' of the townspeople out shopping, taking the kids to school etc. People representing a diverse range of ethnicities, ages, gender, abilities etc. Illustrations with an outline of black, pops of colour and soft lines. The cow itself being a black and white Friesian Cow depicted in the face of the cow with white feet and tail. The cow was painted in a white Resene base coat, the illustrations were painted with an acrylic black Molotow paint pen.
