My idea around the cow was to try and capture the 4 symbols on the Morrinsville Rugby & Sports Crest, I always had an image in my head that the main design of the cow being somehow linked to the symbol of the handshake, because this is what the club is all about. The handshake represents the joining of 2 clubs/cultures coming together to help provide a pathway for talented Morrinsville rugby kids to play top level rugby without having to leave our community. I see the handshake as a scrum with the red being Morrinsville Old Boys and the blue being Morrinsville Sports.
