The brief Chrissy was given was that Ebbett's wanted a play on the old Toyota advertising with the red ute and the dog who had fallen in the mud. One side depicts that scene.
On the other side, they wanted to show how styles have changed, more modern vehicle in a country setting, and now featuring "electric" technology.
Chrissy was asked to playfully contrast of rural grit and the Toyota legacy with clean, green innovation with a nod to hard working charm of every day rural New Zealand.
She has blended the cartoon style with pop art flair, injecting a sense of whimsy, whilst exploring the evolving landscape of transport and sustainability.
